7月21日 Waterford, MI 2009 Quake on the Lake - Eastern DivisionalsWhat a great time seeing our extended boating family. The race organizers and race committee really done well to put on a smooth event. Mother Nature caused some delays. I believe I saw the local news stating it was the second coldest July on record. As far a racing goes, they tried a 1 minute 15 second pin on the front stretch... I like it... some don't. As far as the 5L is concerned... it is of no concern any more. Let it turn Vintage - it'll make an owner really proud to show her off everywhere!! We just weren't competitive - whether it was the motor, prop, or boat... who's to say... I'm just glad to be home to rest. The Rainbow Connection is sending little 4-yr old Alyssa to Disney to be a Princess...
